The Air 3 introduces the first dual-primary camera system in the Air series. It includes a 1/1.3-inch CMOS wide-angle camera and a 1/1.3-inch CMOS 3x medium tele camera, both housed in a sleek and compact body. Despite having the same sensor size, the two cameras feature different focal lengths, resulting in consistent image quality and offering a wider range of imaging possibilities. 

Dual Camera: Both cameras can produce 48MP images with stunning, lifelike details that can be easily cropped in post-production for those who require it. The dual 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensors on the Air 3 allow for dual native ISO enabling cropping-free direct 4K/60fps HDR video output. Both cameras also support 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG color modes. For greater editing freedom, 10-bit D-Log M mode helps preserve more highlight and shadow details. With a larger dynamic range, the 10-bit HLG mode can produce good imaging results without the need for color grading.

Vision Assist: Air 3's Vision Assist provides real-time views from the front, rear, left, and right through an innovative omnidirectional vision-detecting system. This allows for more creative camera movements and provides pilots with a better understanding of their surroundings, unlocking the full potential of aerial photography and enabling pilots to fly with more confidence.

Extended Flight and Charging: Air 3 offers up to 46 minutes of flight time which is 48% longer than previous-generation aircraft. This extended duration allows ample time to explore, adjust compositions, and capture desired images in a single flight.

The advanced power transfer feature is facilitated by the new battery charging hub. Even with limited charging options, you can fully charge a battery by pressing and holding the function button to transfer the remaining power from multiple batteries to the one with the highest remaining power.

Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing: Air 3's omnidirectional sensor system provides all-around environmental awareness, enabling it to identify obstructions from every angle. For a safer overall flying experience, Air 3 may use APAS 5.0 to execute smoother avoidance motions when objects are identified. Now, even total novices can fly with assurance and carry out original ideas in a safer manner.

O4 HD Transmission: Air 3 is equipped with significantly improved transmission performance thanks to the next-generation O4 HD video transmission system. It offers a maximum range of 20 kilometers with enhanced stability, together with a maximum quality live stream of 1080p/60fps to guarantee incredibly smooth operation and viewing.

Advanced RTH:  To return home promptly and safely during Smart RTH, Air 3 will automatically calculate an ideal flight path for Advanced RTH while retaining omnidirectional obstacle sensing.

ActiveTrack 360°: Utilize the ActiveTrack 360° feature of the Air 3 to enhance your creative photos. The omnidirectional vision sensor technology and 3x medium telecamera work together to provide you with cinematic footage that maintains focus on your topic. You still have easy-to-use control over the flight path when you fly in Manual mode. Air 3 will perform orbiting, approaching, and distancing operations with your subject centered when you draw your flight route on the Manual wheel.

Focus Track: FocusTrack effortlessly maintains you or your subject in the middle of the picture. When spotlighting subjects, the 3x medium telecamera allows for a special kind of spatial compression. When paired with omnidirectional obstacle sensing, this improved tracking performance enables you to take well-thought-out, strategic pictures anytime and anywhere.

Quick Shots, 2.7K Vertical Shooting, and MasterShots are the other features that will help expand your creativity. Use the LightCut app on your smartphone to establish a wireless connection with the Air 3 and access additional creative choices like One-Tap Edit. Throughout the process, there's no need to download every bit of film, which helps save up space on your mobile device.

The Waypoint Flight function is now accessible on the Air series for the first time. For Air 3, arrange flight paths and takeoffs ahead of time to accomplish challenging camera angles and breathtaking single shots. Additionally, you can store flight paths so that you can precisely repeat the same action at a later time. This allows you to take long-duration timelapse photos that record changes in light and season.
